About Doris & Diana Demaj
My name is Doris Demaj
I was born in Prishtina, Kosovo, on June 25, 2008, and I am a student at Iliria School.
I wrote this book out of my love and care for children. I have always loved reading — whenever I have free time, I enjoy getting lost in books.
My parents, Diana and David, also love to read. My mother is a Dentist, and my father is a Lawyer. Reading has been a passion in my family for generations. My grandparents always said: “A book is your best friend — it never hurts you, never bores you, but only gives you knowledge.”
Both of my grandparents, Dr. Vesel and Dr. Advije Demaj, were among the first Pediatricians in Kosovo in the 1960s, dedicating their lives to helping children grow healthy and strong. Their words and example inspired me to dream, to write, and to share stories that bring joy and imagination to children everywhere.
